Walks & Waterfalls
Nantcol Waterfalls could be regarded as the epicenter to an abundance of Walks and Cycle Trails.
Our own Nature Trail & Riverside Walk
A circular walk starting and finishing at the Campsite taking approximately 1 hour to complete. It will guide you passed 2 Waterfalls and into an enclosed Woodland. The viewpoint at the top of the main Falls is regularly described as ‘Heaven on Earth’ overlooking Cardigan Bay and the Lleyn Peninsular.
A Riverside Stroll to Llanbedr
A path leading from our site following the Nantcol River, through an aged Woodland of approximately 2 miles to the village of Llanbedr where you can choose between 3 Public Houses providing excellent Bar Meals and great Ales.
Cycle Path to Harlech Castle
Following a country lane and enjoying spectacular views of Cardigan Bay an easy route (even easier with an Electric Bike!) to the ancient town of Harlech, home to the famous Harlech castle built in 1283 by Edward 1 and excellent Coffee at the Castle Restaurant!
The Rhinog Mountains
If brave and fit! Then why not tackle the Rhinog Mountains at nearly 2000ft literally a mile from site. Again, a scenery to die for! On a clear day you will see freshwater lakes below, Snowdon summit to the North, the Pembrokeshire Coast and Cambrian Mountains to the South and possibly the Wicklow Mountains of Ireland to the West! Honestly, breathtaking scenery!
