best campsite A unique camping experience awaits you here at the award winning Nantcol Waterfalls campsite. Nestled at the foot of the rugged Rhinog Mountain range and yet a mere 2 miles from Shell Island and it's golden sandy beaches.

Camp on 7 acres of flat ground literally a stone throw away from the river and waterfalls, in fact no matter where you pitch you will hear the soothing therapeutic sound of water.

What better way to relax than sitting beside the river with a campfire and a glass of wine – YES, we do allow campfires but do not supply the wine!

Please note that Nantcol Waterfalls is within a Tree Preservation Area and as such we can only allow the burning of manufactured logs – the collection of deadwood and live wood is not permitted.

The campsite is licensed for 23 Caravans / Motorhomes and 62 Tent pitches with 32 electric hook up points available. In 2009 a new facility building was constructed that included Toilets, Disabled facilities, Dishwashing area and Chemical waste disposal point and in 2012 another new building comprising of Ladies and Gents Showers and Washrooms was completed all built to a high standard with local stone cladding and slate roof. Gents have electrical shaving points and there are electrical sockets in the ladies shower / washrooms for hairdryers etc.

We also provide a free freezer pack service and mobile phone charging which is located in the Reception. During highseason we shall be selling Welsh Ice cream of all flavours, teas, coffee, soft drinks and a small selection of camping equipment just in case you might forget something! Chargeable Wi-Fi is now available on site

We are proud to have been selected as an UK Top 10 Campsite by the Daily Telegraph in 2007 and 2008.
